How I entered text into my home page

My first step was to hit the edit button, then I clicked my mouse on the text area . Since I had some descriptive information about my company on my own computer drive, I clicked on my WIindows word processor, and copied a bunch of text. (First I positioned the cursor at the beginning of the text to be copied, then kept the mouse click depressed while I dragged the cursor to the end of the text - the selected text was inversed black - then I right clicked my mouse and chose 'Copy'. Then I went back to my site builder edit screen, right-clicked and chose paste. As soon as I clicked on the Save button, I saw my first page on the Internet.

How I created a picture on my home page

The final step I needed to to in order to complete my first page was to choose the right graphic to go along with my text. I liked the layout (top right corner). I clicked on top of the blank image. I did not have my own graphic, but the supplied range of pictures presented in a variety of categories were plenty. I chose the scale. I clicked on the chosen image, saved my work, and now I have a complete Home page along with a nice graphic. PS! When you check out my 'Advanced Site', I will show you how to upload your own picturel. It is just as easy as using the supplied graphics. One more thing, all the other pages in my basic web site are just as straightforward. But click on the Biographies page, I had to do an extra step to take into account my partner's profile.
